Gijs Van Vaerenbergh is responsible for installing the upside dome inside the St. Michiel Church of Leuven, Belgium. Constructed out of chain, the free hanging "dome" is a sort of aesthetic reversal, informed by the fact that the church itself actually has no proper dome. I would love to see this in person, it looks gorgeous! More here please.
