This is the work of painter/illustrator/designer/musician Stephen Kasner. Some of you may know him in relation to his project Blood Fountains or for the artwork he has done for bands like Khlyst, JK Broadrick, ISIS and Sunn O))). STEPHEN KASNER NEEDS HELP. He is very ill, yet lacks the funds necessary for optimal medical assistance. Many of us have been in this position before! Apparently he has already had emergency care so at this point funds are a must for this fine artist to get himself back in the saddle. If you are a fan or just simply a caring person with even five extra dollars then send him some paypal funds via OR you could just simply visit his merch site. Here is hoping that all goes well...and a Merry Christmas and a God bless us everyone and all this.

Paradoxical Game of Night

Gorgeous piece of work by J Karl Bogartte
Read some of the artist's equally evocative prose at The Cabinet of The Solar Plexus

Finally found some more Austin Osman Spare drawings on the interweb. (This can be a task) Visit Aeron Alfrey's Photostream to see the rest of this set, plus a ponderous amount of other ghoulish imagery.

Hello all and welcome to the Secret Lexicon, a private showcase which I enjoy tinkering with from time to time, though I havent been tinkering for SOME time!! However, I'm glad to inform that one of the reasons for this is that I have been busy working on an exciting new musickal project: NIGHT HEIR. This is (so far) a solo, in-studio recording affair. Over the course of the past Summer I completed putting together a short album entitled Wind In My Dream Mist In My House. I recorded and mixed this in my basement with the help of some dear friends and then forthwith set about the task of designing a package for housing and transporting the album. (Above are the front and back covers, as always, click the images for much larger helpings)
Anyone interested in hearing some samples should wander cautiously into my space.
I will be setting up a profile on that other site soon too and will then post that link as well but until then please visit my new second blog which I have set up specifically to catalog any news at all about this project. Thank you!

(Also I hope to get back on the Lexicon soonishly and start posting more strange things)
